Whiteny’s Story: Whiteny was born in Canaan, a very poor neighborhood in Haiti. When Whiteny was just three years old, a gang member tragically killed her father. From that moment on, her mother was left alone and has faced many hardships while trying to care for her young daughter. She told our KKH team that getting food was so hard that most of the time, they would go hungry for days. Whiteny’s mom cannot provide for her daughter. She believes KKH will give Whiteny the chance to have the bright future she deserves!
