Whiteny’s Story: Whiteny was born in Canaan, a very poor neighborhood in Haiti. When Whiteny was just three years old, her father was tragically killed by a gang member. From that moment on, her mother was left alone and has faced many hardships while trying to take care of her young daughter. She told our KKH team that it was so hard for her to get food that most of the time, they would go hungry for days without food. Whiteny’s mom does not have the ability to provide for her daughter. She believes KKH will give Whiteny the chance to have the bright future she deserves!
