Hi Everyone,
As many of you already know, my name is Dalinchy. In February 2026, I will turn 18 and will graduate from high school later that same year, a milestone that, unfortunately, many Haitians never reach.
As I reach this important moment in my life, I feel the need to speak from the deepest part of my heart. I want to say thank you, not just with words, but with the gratitude and love I carry inside me every single day. For the past ten years, Kingdom Kids Homes has been so much more than a place to live. It has been my home. My hope. My family.
When I first arrived, I was a young child who didn’t know what tomorrow would look like. I was scared, unsure, and searching for a sense of safety. But from the very beginning, the Kingdom Kids Homes staff and Papy Robinson welcomed me with kindness, patience, and open hearts. They became the family I didn’t have, and the support they gave me has shaped my life in ways I will never forget.
I would like to give a special thanks to each one of our sponsors and supporters for providing me with a safe place to grow, learn, and discover who I am. You made sure I had food, a place to sleep, and clothes to wear, but you also gave me something even more important, love, guidance, and hope. You encouraged me to work hard in school and helped me believe that I could achieve something in life. Every lesson, every conversation, and every moment of care has stayed with me.
And to those of you who used to come on the mission trips to Haiti with Mommy Kristie, I miss you more than you know. Your presence, your warmth, and your love made a difference in my life that I will always remember.
During these past 10 years, your support has taught me strength, responsibility, and compassion. I learn and understand what it means to care for others.
As I look toward the future, I carry with me everything I learned here. I may be leaving the orphanage someday, but I will never forget the people who changed my life. The memories we built together, the laughter we shared, and even the challenges we overcame will always be a part of me.
Thank you for believing in me, protecting me, teaching me, and guiding me. I am forever grateful for your kindness and for giving me a chance to grow into the person I am today. You have changed my life, and I will always carry your love and support in my heart.
With sincere gratitude,
Dalinchy
